Authentic Community Theatre announces preliminary auditions for
SIFTA 2008 - "Voices in the Forest: Here There Be Dragons"

Saturday, July 19th, 2008
9am-12pm and 2pm-5pm

New to this year’s program is the Preliminary Audition, taking place at E. Russell Hicks Middle School. These auditions are strongly suggested, but not mandatory. The purpose of the preliminary audition is to get to know all campers beforehand and to get a feel for the unique talents and skills of each student! You must be registered for the Summer Institute in order to audition. Anyone registering after July 19, 2008 will not be negatively affected in regards to casting. There will be no precasting.

Final casting decisions will not occur until Tuesday, July 29, 2008 after our first camp day.
What to prepare: All students participating in the Preliminary Audition should prepare a paragraph from a Grimm Fairy Tale to read (Surprise us with your choice!). If you wish, you may prepare a 30 second vocal selection to be sung a capella (this is optional!). Please wear comfortable clothes and shoes.

Authentic Community Theatre (ACT) is a professional creative arts company committed to producing original work in collaboration with community.
